Had the same problem with my AC and the roof panel. By tightening the three bolts to 55 inch lbs as per manufacturer instructions the outer and inner parts of the AC unit were squeezing the two skins of the roof panels together. There was just foam between the two skins. I ended digging the foam out enough for me to add two properly sized pieces of wood the full length of the hole, front and back of the hole, and glued them in place. Something that should have been done during manufacture. It stopped the aluminum roof panels from squeezing together and made the AC mounting solid. Never had to torque the three bolts again.
