Pocket Stop Adjustment Question
I'm trying to make some minor pocket stop adjustments following roof repairs that were performed at the factory. Both shells extend slightly farther than I would like. After a fairly thorough search on the forum, I've seen conflicting info on specifically which bolts to adjust - the bolts on each of the four lift arms on each shell or the the bolts on the lift arms closest to the ends of the camper.
From user larsdennert: "All four arms have these adjusters. Adjust both screws on each side until the shell opens so the pins center over the latches on both sides."
From user Troy Dutton: "The bolts at the tops of the lift arms near both ends of the camper are travel stops, but the bolts at the tops of the lift arms near the center of the camper adjust the height of the open ends of the shells."
I'm not of the opinion that any of these bolts adjust the height of the shells. However, IIRC, prior to leaving the factory, Jacob made some pocket stop adjustments and he only made them using the bolts on the lift arms closest to the ends of the shells.
If anyone has any definitive information on this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Todd
