Default Gocntry Goes 15" Finally Got It Done

Weel I've Joined The 15" Club Finally.

Wheels Are 2600Lb Versions, Tires Are 15" Marathons Made In The USA.

I Got Slightly Different Wheels (round hole) Added Center Caps And Chrome Lug Nuts.

Plenty Of Room In The Wheel Well. Just Need To Do The Spare Tire Rack Mod And I'm Set For The 2 1/2 Hr Drive To The Williamsburg Meet

Patriot, I ordered my 15x6" 2600lb wheels from "www.trailertiresandwheels.com" ( Item # SP1565SWE).

Local prices couldn't compete! I did have to modify the spare rack.

Yep Same Ones I Got, And Same Thing, Local Guys Here Couldn't Compete Even With The Shipping I Had To Pay.

EDIT>>> Opps Mine Are The Modular Wheels Not The Spoke Wheels... http://www.trailertiresandwheels.com...t/MD1565MWNRSE

Nice mod. But wow! Did you also modify the wheel cover, or did you just remove it for the photos? If you did modify it, have you had any trouble with mud/dirt kicked up on the inside wall of the front shell?

It's Just Removed When I Took The Photos.. I Did Have To Add The Washers Behind The Attaching Screw (as i believe you did) To Push The Wheel Cover Out A Little.

I did not add Washers to the Wheel Cover. Have no spacing problem on mine.

I just installed by 15inch Marathon's ST225/75R/15 D load rated!! I got the 2600lb spoke wheels. Now just have to mod the tire rack for the spare and I will be ready for tubing at Garner State Park in Texas! Thanks for all the help!!!

Update: Well, I drove about 1,200 miles last week with no problems. No problem with height as I rolled it into the garage after the trip.

Had a shop install the lift kit on our 2005 2720SL. We had printed instructions from this forum and gave it to the shop - they appreciated the detail of information and said it was helpful. THANKS!
Now we plan to convert to 15" wheels. Trailertiresandwheels.com have both the spoke and modular wheels mentioned here for the 2008 TM (SP1565SWE and MD1565MWNRSE). Both are Pattern: 5 on 4.50; Center Bore: 3.30"; Maximum Load: 2,600 lbs. Can anyone tell me the difference between the spoke and modular (advantage of one vs the other) and how to determine if either of these will fit our 2005 TM. Thanks!
