Question Tire mount

I have a situation where I had to remove the spare tire mount off the back of my trailmanor so it would fit in my garage. I dont want to be forced to go through the unbolting of the whole mount everytime I put it in my garage. Has anyone been faced with the same situation? I am thinking of having a receiver mount welded to the underside of the bumper and somehouw have a removable tire mount that could simply slide out of it. The mount would need to be flush with the bumper to not add any extra length to the camper. Any thoughts?

Dave

Yup, Like I already mentioned in that thread, my spare is on a tray just in front of the door. Easy access from curb side.

I could take a couple of pictures this weekend if that would be helpful.

Thanks Wayne, that would be helpful. So do you think this tray would fit on a 2001 2619?

Hi Guys,
I'm just a ole country girl, but when TM started putting the tires under the camper, didn't they also add lift kits? Just a thought.

On my 2002, the spare-tire-under-the-frame had just been introduced, and it was not an option. At that time (and I think even now), the lift kit was an option.
