Hanging cabinet help
This may be the silliest TM improvement ever, but I like it.
Our TM has the over-sink hanging cabinet. It can be a pain to hang, because it can be a bit heavy and clumsy, even when empty. And when you raise it to the proper height, you can’t see the mounting brackets, so you are hanging blind. It has to be positioned quite accurately left-right before you lower into the final position, and when I mis-aim a bit, it scratches the wall.
As you can see in the pictures, both the wall half and the original cabinet half (on left) of the bracket pair have vertical sides, so your left-right aim has to be pretty good to get them to mate. What I did was round off the square corners of the cabinet half (on right), so that it would tolerate a bit of left-right error and still mate. It works for me!

After listening to my DW harangue the cabinet I was contemplating the very same "fix". Thanks for sharing!

Yesterday I discovered why it is so hard to hit the holes, to hang these cabinets.
If you look just above the wall hanger bracket, you will see a wall molding that is about 1/4" thick. The hanging bracket is only about 1/16" thick. That means that the molding is blocking about 3/16" of the bracket opening.
I discovered this because I bought some "Z" mounting brackets to replace my factory brackets and they didn't work at all because of that molding.
My solution was to buy a bunch of thick 1/4" washers and put them between the wall mounting bracket and the wall. This put the entry level for the cabinet bracket on the same plain as the wall bracket and the cabinet now (literally) falls right into place every time.

The protruding bracket doesn't cause any problem when lowering the shells?

I just woke up realizing what you were asking (at 3:30AM). I hate it when that happens.
I'll go out and close up the TM later today and let you know. I didn't even think about it interfering with closing. I leave it set up in the garage.

When I hung the brackets on the 3326 I just moved them down a couple inches from the trim. Same effect.

I thought the same thing. I may have to do that. I haven't gone out to close the trailer yet. It's all Bill's fault for waking me up at 3:30AM LOL.
I'm hoping that they will slide past the seals OK...

Thanks for the thought Bill.... it was a good catch but they clear the lower body, outside seals nicely.
There is one thing that I would suggest to anyone doing this. Check and make sure that the screw heads are smooth on the wall bracket mounts. They do rest against the bag seals and if the screw heads have burs on them, they could scratch the seals. A light touch-up with a fine file or emery cloth wouldn't hurt.

Bill,
The Factory changed the type of bracket that goes on the top, back of the hanging cabinet - see thumbnails of my cabinet. I can see where the "hooks" you show would make it difficult to line up the cabinet with the wall plates. My hanging cabinet is easier to mount since the hooks are not as wide as the opening in the wall bracket. They also have the correct profile for ease of mounting onto the wall.
