Default This is for the want-to-be full timers in a TM

Hi -

For those TM owners that want to go full time in a TM.

We found a park model in our camping park that we really fell in love with. It has an enclosed AZ. room, a work shop shed, most of the tools will stay. It is on a corner lot which is very large.

Everything stays inside, just move in, don't have to buy nothing. All the furniture is in perfect condition the people will take a few personal things then we move in July 18th.

We also have a nice garden for our tomato plants and squash, In order to buy here they have to do a security check on the people, even if you had a DUI in the past 2 years you can't get in here, very strict.

Angie's sewing room is twice as big then the one she has at home.

We will take the TM home July 25th and put it in the garage just like usual and use it for our short camping trips in the off season during the winter in AZ. Then come back up here for the rest of the season.

The season here in the park is May 1st, till Oct. 15th, then they close for the season.

Just to give you an idea, our TM 2720 is 168 feet of living area and the park model is 700 square feet of living area, it seems so huge. We don't have to buy nothing all pot & pans, sheets, furniture, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, 2 TV's stays, they just take personal items with them, that is how these units sell. The unit was $12,500.00, 35' long.

We did 9 weeks here so far with the TM and it is great but for 5 1/2 months, it is not good. Even a 38' 5th wheel would not work, now we have a little mountain home in Show Low, AZ. in the white mountains, with a TM to travel in. We gave the TM a SHOT but a one BUTT kitchen is not working

This post is mainly for the retired TM owners that want to go full time.

Bear and I did the same thing with the 3023. Our Park Model has a full Florida room and a utility room with washer and dryer as well. Almost 1000 sq. ft. The only difference is I go to the center of Florida, a little closer than AZ for me. The sunset is from my front lawn.

LOVE it.

Vary Nice Dave------But my understanding FULLTIMING and yours must be different. FULLTIMING to me is moving about the country and the only place you have to live is the TM.
We lived for 5 years in our 37' Winnebago Suncruiser. I would not try it in a TM---just a bit small. LOL
