I had the same problem when we first bought our TM. That molding strip has a piece of 3M self-adhesive tape on the underside. I bought a new piece from the factory, and cut a curve into the end to prevent a corner from pulling off. I then pulled off the old piece, cleaned up the surface with acetone, applied 3M 94 tape primer (according to the TM factory's advice), and applied the new molding. It is firmly attached, and hasn't moved one bit in over 2 years. And we have camped and driven through temps ranging from the teens to 105 F.
