Mysterious red light on top of the camper ('06 Model 2619)
I have noted that when the camper ('06 Model 2619) is set up, there a small red light that from a distance resembles an LED. It is located at the top of the camper on the back of the front shell seal about two feet from the left of the side of the camper opposite the door. It and can only be seen from a position in which the eye is level with the top of the camper. I've observed this light when the camper is on either battery or shore power.
Can anyone tell me the purpose of this light?

Possibly. However, I think it unlikely given the prevalence of drones in 2006!

If it's in a very small black box with two 3-4" plastic tabs sticking off to the side? I have the same light. I found that it is the radio power amplified antenna. The LED is very dim and its hard to see in daylight.
It is always being powered. I ended up unplugging the 12v to it in the fridge compartment. Some time in the future, I will plug it onto the power switch I added for the radio, so it's only powered when I turn on the radio.

Mine doesn't go off with the TV antenna booster. I was told it is the radio antenna indicator and so would only go off if battery disconnected(?).

That is correct, it is one of those constant voltage draws, that drains your battery. It's another reason you need a battery disconnect switch or a battery tender on all the time.

Digger pointed out that the light is a power indicator for bat wing radio antenna.
I'm not the original owner so I don't have much documentation on the installed options. It does have a large roof mounted antenna that can be raised turning a crank on the roof inside the camper. I was told that it was a TV antenna by the dealer who sold it to me. I never used the antenna because I was told it only receives analog signals (manufactured in 2006) and I really don't want to be watching TV anyway while getting away from it all.
Is there also a radio antenna or does this antenna serve as both. My camper evidently did have a radio which was removed before I acquired it. If I want to disconnect the radio antenna how is that done? Tentcamper mentioned a connection in the fridge compartment. Could I have more specific information on locating and disconnecting it?
Perhaps I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill in that I never leave the battery connected in storage.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
