I was thinking about just putting an inline shut-off valve but I had a 3/8" brass flare plug so I just plugged it and left it. It isn't a problem so I just pushed it back it and left it.

There is probably about 3' of extra tubing in there to allow you to pull the fridge out before disconnecting the gas line.

I was easily able to disconnect the propane line from the fridge through the external vents before pulling it out.

That may be true but if someone is pulling the fridge out anyway, there's no reason to risk sticking both arms in such a small space, around all that sharp sheet metal so that they can hold 2- wrenches at the same time.

They can pull the fridge way out and have easy totally open access. That's why I put that part in there.

Thanks for the comment.

That's actually one of the reasons that I posted all those pics. I figured that they may come in handy for other things....... Glad to know that someone could use them.

Thank You for this! Our fridge was not working well on gas. I wanted to clean the burner tube but the way its in there its next to impossible to do it in place. So I followed these easy instructions to get it out, then found the slits in the burner tube for the flame were almost shut due to corrosion. Only a razor blade will get in them to open them up. Shoehorned it back in there and it works like a charm now. I suggest to anyone it's not working well on gas to do this. Also was leaving a sooty unburned fuel smell in the trailer and actually set off the CO alarm. Thats when I had enough and knew I had to address this. Lots of soot built up in the flue. Also fixed a few other problems while I was at it. Thanks again.
