F Flap 40071

Hello,
We managed to mangle and break the "F Flap" on the trailer during one of our trips. Its the flap next to the door (right side, forward) that seals the gap between the seat back and the front shell. it apparently fell from the velcro when we were closing the rear and it snapped the wood in half, and pushed the halves through the vinyl.
without going through the parts department at TM (which can be a pain) has anyone replaced the vinyl with anything? I guess we can just go to hobby lobby and buy the vinyl and put backing strips in there, im just looking for any improvements or easy solutions. were pretty much done camping for the summer, so we have plenty of time.
