Default Replacing jack-knife sofa with residential hide-a bed

This potential modification may or may not be as controversial as my previous thread. Has anyone considered, investigated or pursued replacing the jack-knife sofa in a 2720SL with a residential sofa/sleeper or "hide-a-bed"?

If it is feasible dimensionally this would allow a couple to not have to crawl over each other when getting out of bed in the night. Thanks in advance for the input.
