Default Dinning room slide

How cool would it be if you could get one side to slide out. Take the dinning Room area, couch/sofa and have it slide about 4'. Now that would give us the room we need.

You aren't the first to have that thought here, but the extra weight of the beams and cross-members would make it prohibitive for a trailer that is intended to be lightweight. Tricky thought.

Default Sink slide

IT would be cool if the sink side would slide with the couch. That way you have extra room in the kitchen and dinning area. The extra weight I could deal with as long as it still folds up like it does now. Keeping the low profile helps in towing. I can manuver the camper almost anywhere with no problems. This would put TM at the top of the line of campers that no one else would have. Like having your cake and not spoiling your meal.

For the just the two of us the living room slide on the 2720SL is perfect.

It'd be nice, but some of us couldn't handle the extra weight.

We removed the recliner chair, and replaced it with a lightweight folding director's style chair. Compactly fold out of the way when not in use, allowing for a lot of floorspace (necessary with the twins and the dog). A side fold-out would only add 1-2 feet of width, while nice, isn't as critical as it might be. The SL really has a lot of floorspace, IMO.

I think the need for floor space is a regional issue.

We are rarely in the TM. My wife and I sleep in it. Her blind brother sleeps in the front during the rare times he goes with us.

We also use the TM for cooking and showers.

Our adult children sleep in their own tents.

From the time we get up in the morning until bedtime after the campfire we are outside.

There is no need to get out of the rain or snow during a drought.

Though we could camp all season, we usually limit our camping from April until early November.

We did camp int the rain twice. Week before Christmas at Big Sur and an unusual light rain Memorial weekend two hears ago.

The primary reason that California is expensive is because of the weather tax.
