Default 5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

This is for folks who have microwaves. I have made this and it is quick, easy and delicious. I had to play around with the time a little bit.

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE!!
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips or (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to your largest mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using), vanilla extract then mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

I wish I could say yes but it is not my recipe. Friends shared this with me and I am not sure were they got the recipe. It originally had a reference to "tipple" which I had to look up. Tipple is an english word for "Alcoholic beverage".

Thanks after doing a search this recipe has been around for many many years I think I will be safe adding one of them to a news letter. Also it has many different ways you can do it for different taste.

What do you do after it's done in the microwave? Can I have my cake and eat it too?

I don't know about you but I put on a plate with some vanilla ice cream and gobbled it up!

Thumbs up

This recipe is almost evil...it's so good. Way too easy to make! It truly is delicious with vanilla ice cream...we can actually split it and have plenty. Happy camping.
