No running lights??

Hi,

I am having problems with my 2003 2720 with the tail/running lights - I re-did the old connector on my F350 and I have turn signals, brake lights, back up etc but I cannot seem to get the running lights working - I am a novice at this but my wife suggested that maybe there is some kind of safety switch and the tail lights will not work with the trailer open? doesn't make sense to me but I thought I would ask - I have used a point file to clean the connectors on the trailer side - they look ok from the outside - the trailer side is a one-piece molded connection so it will not be able to open it up without cutting and re-doing the whole thing
Anyone with any ideas on this would be appreciated - BTW I did check the diagrams, and my manual and I am pretty sure that the wires match up correctly........otherwise the other 4 functions would not work correctly?? right??

Double check your Bargman wiring against this diagram: http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...&pictureid=442

Do the running lights work on your tow vehicle? If not, check for a bad tow vehicle running lights fuse.
