Dumb question...
Where do you store the middle bracket for the awning? It doesn't fit in the bumper area because of the divider things in it. We put it on the couch when traveling, but if we don't put the awning up while camping, it sits on the ledge behind the couch, which is an eyesore in my opinion. Being a woman I like to have things looking kind of neat.

I store ours on top of the bumper when not in use. Have never had anything walk away at a campground. The bracket is small enough not to draw attention.

Ours is stored under the mattress of the bed, near the side so you don't feel it under you when sleeping. It was there when we bought the TM and we never thought to store it anywhere else.

I secured the clips for the crank and support to the back of the couch.

Storage for awning "rafter"?

If you are referring to the awning "rafter" - the support that attaches in the middle of the awning - and it sounds like you are based on the answers, mine came with brackets on the back of the street side couch back. I have a bracket for both the rafter and the awning crank.
Can someone confirm that new ones do or do not come with these brackets?

My 2006 2720SL does not have those clips. I put the stuff under the mattress, which seems to work just fine. I also put a couple other unwieldy-but-flat things under there, such as those long marshmallow-toasting forks that won't fit in the kitchen cabinets.
