I have a similar situation with our TM bed. If you look closely at the number of and position of washers, you might be able to detect that the left arm support washers are not in the same position (in relation to the plastic track) as the washers on the right support arm. My left (street side) arm washers are out of position (when the bed is slid out) . . . there are too many poking above the plastic track. Over time, that end of the plastic track has developed an elongated indentation. The bed will not close unless I push up on the area near the support arm which causes the washers to fall back into position (and relieves any stress). The solution is to replace the plastic track. Our TM dealer has ordered a replacement track from the factory. Replacing the damaged track should be an easy change out.
So how did our track get damaged in the first place? I believe it happened when I inadvertently pushed up on the bed end, before it was completely opened. That bed is heavy!! It nearly fell off the side rails. I think one side of the plastic track got damaged when I reset the bed on the side rails. At that point, the support arm washers may have shifted, causing the bed to be slightly tilted, which in turn caused the elongation in the plastic track.
Our TM is closed up. If it will help, I can send you or post here, pictures of the plastic track.
