jgilliam, we bought a 3124 and then I measured the garage door height. I had to call the dealer and ask exactly how tall my trailer was. With the low profile A/C, I have about an inch to spare.
I just went out and measured the width of our trailer... There is a back "porch light" that sticks out a couple of inches on one side and the Awning on the other. My trailer is just over eight feet by an inch and a quarter (97.25"
.
You might find the following possibilities helpful; they are things I was thinking about for my situation while I waited for dealer's call. Some garages are taller or wider if the trim around the garage door is customized. I thought about removing a few feet of trim where there A/C had to pass. Also the TM can be customized a little: you may find it easier to do without the back light than the awning. With nothing but the trailer (no lights or awning) an eight foot opening is going to be tight.
We did have to customize both the trailer and the garage to fit with each other. We demolished cabinets at the end of the garage and installed a swing around tongue on the trailer. I hope all this helps and you are able to successfully solve your snug fit.
