I have a 2022 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 8 242BHSW Rocky Mountain Edition with 2 plastic boxes that each hold a Li Time group 24 lithium battery.
I'd like to upgrade to 4 or 5 of the batteries and need a larger battery box to do this.
So far all I've found is a very nice looking battery box from...
So, my experience with having my batteries in a box is that the box will leak and moisture becomes trapped inside the plastic, non-breathable container. This seems to lead to more corrosion on the terminals, at least it has for me. It is now time to replace my current batteries and there was...
Hi, I have the 2015 Roadtrek SS Agile -- 4 AGM batteries for the coach with 2 batteries under the hood and 2 batteries that are mounted under the rear of the vehicle where the spare tire would normally be mounted. All these batteries are dead and need replacement. I also have the underhood...
I can see the battery behind the hydraulic pump but cannot figure out how to remove it. It shows "bad" on my charger. There is almost no room in this A-frame mounted battery box to even fit your hand. I can't see how to remove whole box for replacement battery. everything looks welded.
I'm wondering if there is anything special to removing the box cover and then the battery. The wires on top of the box make me think there is a special process for removing the terminal wires once inside. I haven't attempted to open it yet as I wanted to make sure there were no surprises...
Just bought a 2009 2720 and it only has one barely working group 31 deep cycle battery and an empty spot where battery #2 goes .
Problem-. Nothing except for electric tongue jack works on battery power, no lights or fans. Electric 30amp works fine.
Next? Not sure what these wires are for but...
Will be closing (hopefully) in North Little Rock on a new 2022 Cougar 22mls next Monday. Jumped ahead and purchased 2 Lossigy 12A 100AH batteries. Now am faced with the chore of finding appropriate battery boxes for these things.
Has anyone out there in Keystone land had experience with these...
After having less than impressive longevity with two 12 volt batteries, I am thinking of pairing a couple six volt batteries. I have seen that a 6V battery is physically larger. Is it simply a matter of getting a new plastic protective bucket/container for the new batteries to be placed in? I...
Unfortunately my battery box and slide out tray need replacing. They are too rusted out. It’s a wonder I was able to drive it home without the batteries completely falling out onto the road. It’s a 1999 international 3800. Does anyone have any suggestions on either an exact replacement or an...
Hey, I am planning on buying 8 GC2 Duracell Flooded Lead Acid batteries from Sams club for my battery bank. I will have 4 340 watt solar panels on the roof of our bus for a total of 1360 watts of solar. I would like to have the battery bank accessible (for maintenance obviously) but also inside...

After top balancing the new Lithium battery cells, I will put the two 12V - 272Ah batteries together. A box from plywood without sides will hold the batteries with four threaded rods as enforcement. The battery cells are connected with double bus bars, BMS leads and six BMS...
We have a Jayco Baja 2019 242BHSW. We want to have two 6v for boondocking but the battery tray and curve of the trailer are making it impossible to find a battery box. Any suggestions on how to make it work?
I’m wanting to update my Jayco Jay Flight SLX 267bhsw battery. I currently have the cheap group 27 battery that came from the dealer. I discharged it to much and now it won’t hold a change well. I’m wanting to put 2 6volt batteries in its place. The only problem is I would like to use the...
Hi All- I have a pretty basic question about the installation of a volt meter- my gut tells me these things need to be wired directly to a battery to monitor it properly but could I remove my USB and 12 volt station that's in my kitchen and wire a new station in that includes a volt meter? My...
I need a replacement battery box for the driver's side of my 1997 Jayco E250 Econoline Camper Van. It must have bolts which attach up toward the under-carriage, not sideways.
I need a driver's side battery box which mounts on the under-carriage of my 1997 Jayco E250 Econoline Camper Van. Any suggestions on sources for this obsolete part would be appreciated.
As the relatively recent new owners of a 2007 24T Towlight, we couldn't help but notice that the single battery would not come close to what we need when boondocking. So I lowered my battery box this week so that It will now comfortably hold two 6-volt golf cart batteries.
I had never welded...
Poor battery set-up in Cougar X-Lite
We have a 2013 Cougar x-lite 21RBS with the aerodynamic fibreglass front cap and the propane tanks and battery inside the cap. I want to install 2 batteries because we camp without power most of the time. The trailer has a nice 8 inch by 22 inch frame for...
I discovered during hurricane Irene that my battery was flat out, so I had to get a new one. Got a group 29, and of course it did not fit in the battery box. I purchased a new MTS battery box http://www.adventurerv.net/vented-battery-box-large-colonial-white-p-4084.html
which appears to be the...
