Air Condition BTU

It seems that the current models push 20k but I've seen posts elsewhere talking about 13.5k BTU. Do you know approximate model/year ranges the change happened in? What is the power draw? I'm wondering what size generator I need to get so if you could give me an idea of yours, it would be helpful. I'm hoping the Honda 3200i could be sufficient if it's the only thing using it.
