Default Trying to do bearing maintenance but...

O.K. I give up. How do you pry the metal cup off of the hub to get to the retaining clip and then the bearings?

I've been trying to pry it off with a screwdriver to no avail. What am I missing?

It's an 08 3124KB with the Drexel EZ Lube axle.

thanks,

You're going about it right. It's just a compression fit. I usually give it a whack or two on its side with a rubber mallet to break it lose, and then pull it out with my hand. If you don't have such a mallet, maybe use a hammer and a piece of wood.
