Default battery compartment and sofa support

I have a 2014 2720QS (sofa slide out). A while ago I had a contractor install an additional solar panel and two 6 volt deep cycle AGM batteries. Original battery, box and supports were removed and new batteries placed next to the furnace (underneath the sofa). Everything works fine, but now when we convert the sofa to a bed, (ie, pull the sofa seat out and place the sofa backboard down flat) the sofa backboard now will not stay in place. It falls into the hole where to old battery box used to be. Does anyone have a photo or diagram of the battery/furnace compartment so that I can fabricate a brace to hold the sofa backboard in place while in 'bed' mode?
