Default Our new to us tow rig

2008 Toyota Sienna XLE FWD 3.5l v6

took it on a maiden voyage of 120 miles with the TM and it was great. Avg mpg 17-18 towing , driving speed of 60-65 mph.. Best part of the new ride is for mpg not towing as high as 29.8 mpg

How come you switched TV?

Better mileage was number one reason. With this sienna we have gotten 28 mpg hiway not towing and towing was 17-18 mpg beats the 13mpg of the suburban either way even with wind at our backs. Plus we might be buying some property in another state and possibly sell the TM. Wife is getting out of the mood to camp these days.

Thanks, the heat does have some negative effects though, decals don't last at all out here. even when under the cover ...heat destroys
