Sorry......that's a lazy person's rear axle rating.

The TV has a front and rear axle curb weight and they each have a maximum weight rating. It's not uncommon for a 1/2 ton pick up truck to exceed the rear axle rating if it has a heavy shell (like mine) plus carries a lot of "Stuff" in the back, then adds 500+# of trailer tongue weight.

Thanks to the two people who caught the humor in my thread title and sent me private messages. On Saturdays I have NPR on the radio nearly all day. Now to create a thread with "Click and Clack."
