Recently, my refrigerator fan stopped working. So I checked the fuse...good. I then removed the outside panel and checked power to the motor wires...good. OK, now it was time to remove the bottom portion of the ducting and look inside. Guess what I found? A small piece of Styrofoam (insulation from the floor panel) had been sucked into the fan housing. It got lodged between one of the blades and the housing. Once I removed the Styrofoam, the fan started working again. Hope this helps others.
