1st trip with TM this past weekend

We took our 3 year old on his first camping trip and first time with TM this weekend. Went to Bandy Creek at Big South Fork in Northern TN. Had a pool and 3 playgrounds that my son loved. He also loved the campfires, marshmallows, and caves in the area.

TM worked great. Towed up and down interstate at 70MPH and a winding 13% grade behind Caravan with no problems. Got 17MPG. Without TM it usually gets about 23MPG with this kind of mixed driving.

Ready to go again. Probably Smoky Mt. NP next.

We started both of our kids camping when they were infants and have taken them camping in a truck camper, tents, a 60's Aloha trailer, back to tents, and then the TM. They loved it and we had some great family moments. DD goes tent camping regularly now on her own with her friends. She has her own box with camping supplies now so she doesn't need to dig into our stuff in the TM!
