Larger window in the door!
Has anyone else thought about replacing the tiny bathroom window that is in the entrance door?
I ordered a new window the other day. Its a 18 X 29 vertical slide dark tinted window. I like to be able to see through the window as I am exiting! Also I will have the luxury of a much larger screen area! I'll take pictures of the before during and after project and post the price and website once I am satisfied with my purchase and install!
As I become more familiar with the ins & outs of the forum I'll take pictures of the storage mod's, inside & outside that I've already done and are working well for us!

I'd be anxious to see that...... I am also considering replacing the window just forward of the door, with a larger window.

Ok, this is interesting. We do hate that window. We think we would go with the horizontal slider though. And then, how to enlarge the opening . . . Sawzall? Rotozip? This forum is a hard habit to break.

A sawsall cuts through that aluminum skin just fine (very fine blade).
The problem is knowing where and if there is any frame in the door. That's why I figured I let someone else experiment. That's the same reason that I haven't put a larger window in the side yet. I love to see a drawing of the framework in the forward roof.

Hi All,
The new window is the same width as the old. I will remove the old when the new arrives, then I will know if there is a frame to deal with! Using the new window as a template I will scribe and enlongate the opening with a jigsaw. The new window is 18 X 28 and the flange is 1" wider, Its called a vertical slider but the window opens horizontaly with the screen on the lower half! I have tried attaching the website but it says invalid! Maybe you all can help me with that!

I hope this works!

We got how your window will work. We just prefer that ours would slide to the side and they have those in the same size.
