WDH Spring Bar Storage
I think someone has already purchased and posted these, but I built mine and really like this WDH Spring Bar Storage holders that I fabricated. Very easy with some self tapping screws, 5" of 1.5" angle, and some tubing that just fits your spring bars. Keeps the bars out of the dirt, and keeps the kids out of the grease !

That is very nice. Ever since I've had the TM I've been searching for a way to keep the grease from getting everywhere.
Do you have another pair in stock?

good job
Those look nice...you do great work!!...however, I have the Blue Ox Sway-Pro WDH which doesn't have grease on the spring bars...the grease stays in the fitting where the bar end connects to the receiver hitch head, so the bars stay clean. Plus they are just straight bars with no angle to them and with a chain on one end. If you ever decide to up grade your WDH, I would suggest that you take a look at the Blue Ox Sway-Pro. They also have the sway control built into them...but duh!.....you probably figured that out from the name....silly me!
As for the spring bars...I just put them in the back of my truck whenever I take them off. They are so easy to operate....
Just don't lose the wrench!

Craigrrr,
I see by your signature you have a slide (SD). My unit also has a slide (SL). When the unit is closed you have access to the retracted swing arm. I am able to store my WDH spring bars inside the swing arm. This storage may not work with every style of spring bar though.

I have torsion bars. I just lay them across the tongue between propane tank and battery. I slip a black sock over the greasy torsion ends.

I don't believe they can be stored in the swing arm when the slide is pulled out. You will note the bolt that supports the slide would be in the way. I haven't tried storing my spring bars in the swing arm when the slide is pulled out. There may be enough clearance? However, when opened I store my spring bars in the tongue, just behind the tongue jack or on the back bumper. Do cover the end of the spring bar to avoid unwanted grease/oil stains on clothing or skin - or clean up the greasy/oily end of the bar.

I will have to take a look at mine and see what kind of room is there. Thanks Dick.
