Default Water Leak 1995 M2518

I have noticed water leaking from the exterior driver-side rear of the trailer
just above the water line release valves. I couldn't see an access point to check the lines and water pump.

Does anyone know where the access points are to check the lines?

On my unit that's where the bathroom is.

I had a leak there. I was able to remove a black panel under the camper under the shower and could use a mirror and flashlight to inspect for leaks. I found it was leaking but could not see from where but was was headed in the right direction.

I then removed the external shower for a better view. I pulled out the outside shower leaving the pipes attached and used a mirror and flashlight and found the hot water supply line to the shower faucet was leaking and needed to be tightened but there was not enough room it tighten it.

I needed to remove the faucet panel from the inside to fix it.

I have heard of an access panel inside the rear storage compartment under the bed.

I hear of the same panel, but my unit it did not have one. If it did have a panel on my unit it would have been of almost no use. I'm thinking it's on newer units with a different type of shower, or the units that don't have the 30 amp shore power cord stored in that location.

I did a quick search. Here is a link to what seems to be the same area that talkes about the inspection hole. Maybe there is somthing here that can help. http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...sh+water+drain

Although I have the 2619, theres a small access hole just behind the curb side aft corner of the tub. My rig has an access panel ya open and that's where my access panel is to the shower faucet fittings. Sorry its not the best picture. If a better one is needed let me know.

Thanks, nice photo. It looks like your shower faucet is positioned in the corner of the shower. I would expect some year after our unit was built the shower was changed with faucet in the corner of the shower.

My unit has the faucet in the center of the outside wall where there is a 2 inch spacer between the tub and inside of the outside wall with 2x2 framing on three sides and the bottom is open. There is no way to get to it other then to cut the caulk and pull the spacer with the faucet attached. It was a PIA to fix the leak when the supply line to faucet was leaking because the rubber seal loosen up.

Yes, I have come to realise that most of the items that can leak are in places that are extremely difficult to access or you have to remove it or another item to reach. When working in those tight spaces, I always think about the person who either designed it. Cause I want to ask them; What the heck were you thinking when you designed it??!!?
Then several other inappropriate words come spewing out until I feel a bit better.
