Default Sleep Apnea

I don't know how to start this but I have sleep apnea and both the wife and I use CPAP machines to help us sleep so we have to arrange our machines so they don't get turned over in the night. I said all of this to say I wish TM would configure some of the campers to accommodate this

Over the years, we have had a number of very good threads on CPAP machines - use the Search function to find them. The latest was less than six months ago, and dealt with where to physically mount a CPAP machine.

I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting TM should do to accommodate them. Can you elaborate?

Bill

Travler,

I too use a CPAP machine and have it up on a shelf to keep it off the bed. I hated the way the hose would get tangled up as I tossed or turned in the night.

I searched the forum, but Bill was the one who found the thread I was looking for.

In this thread Grandfather attached brackets to the side wall to set up his machine. I really didn't want to put holes into the trailer walls if I did not have to and I can up with a solution that works for me. I used PVC and some scrap plywood to make my shelf. To keep it snug to the wall I added some Scotch brand Velcro to the edge of the wood and then a larger strip to the wall. I have since added a hook to hang my battery pack to the shelf.

I was thinking of some type of shelf plus a closer plug.

I like that idea........now do you set this up when you decide to call it a day?

I can set it up before I go to bed or as we set up the camper once we get to the camp site. It takes me about 5-10 mins to place the shelf up, pull out the CPAP, connect the hose/mask and hang the battery pack up.
I went as cheap and simple. The poles are 3/4 PVC I had sitting around, which I painted afterwards to make it look fairly nice. I went with some simple snap clips from the hardware store and screwed them to the bottom. I used some oversized PVC T-fittings wedged between the mattress and back wall to keep the bottom from moving around.

I do like some of the shelving ideas used in this thread, look at the second block. https://www.trailmanorowners.com/~tr...ad.php?t=16415
