again, I did paint mine but Im too lazy to do the whole thing. So I matched it and just painted what was needed which was the two forward shell walls.
People have replaced floors with pergo and countertops, curtains, you name it. You might see more in the Modifications section of the forum. Not sure if you have access to that as a trial member.
If it has a lot of cosmetic flaws, maybe you can use it to your advantage on the price.
By the way, I paid $7800 from a private party 2 years ago for my 1996 2518. I over paid by at least $800. (There were features listed that it didn't have.)
How much are they asking for this one?

We were gonna buy it from my husband's co-worker for $4500. We looked all through it and everything is in great shape .....It was kept stored and covered, and the outside graphics look brand new. It's just the colors inside are to outdated looking for me, so I really would love to change it.

That sounds like a good deal. Mine was outside and needed work. If you like the TM design, I'd not worry about the color scheme, but that's just me:)
The 2518 is the lightest weight they made and so the easiest on your tow vehicle.

Two years ago DW insisted on the blue versus beige color scheme. The local dealer (Dinuba RV) only stocked the beige, so we had to order one.

Personally I don't care. I try to spend as much time outside as possible. When I am outside or the lights are off at night I don't even know what the interior color is.

But then it is because of guys like me that there is a small niche market for GRRR animals for adults.
